Steven M. Gelley, CPA, A Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus Graduate and a Certified Public Accountant licensed by both the State of Florida and the State of New York. Mr Gelley was previously a partner at Gelley & Co., LLP, a New York based accounting firm prior to his relocation to Florida and the formation of Gordon, Gelley & Co., PLLC in December 2010.
Mr. Gelley is a member of the FICPA, AICPA, and the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce. With his extensive experience performing financial statement GAAP audits, reviews, compilations, tax planning, tax preparation, IRS audits, as well as other general accounting services, he is able to address all of our clients’ needs.
Reed D. Gordon, CPA, PFS, the Co-founder of Gordon & Company PA. is a University of Miami graduate with over 30 years of public accounting and tax service. Mr. Gordon is a certified public accountant licensed by the State of Florida and holds a NASD Series 65 securities license and has received the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Mr. Gordon is a member of the FICPA and the personal financial planning division of the AICPA, a past president of the local International Association of Financial Planners, and has been a member of the National Association of Estate Planners and the Boca Raton Estate Planning Council. Mr. Gordon is on the Advisors Board of CPAlliance™, a money management co-operative of accounting firms organized in 1989.
Mr. Gordon is a past president of the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce and past chairman of the board of the YMCA of Greater Miami. He is also active in the Chamber of Commerce and other local civic organizations. Mr. Gordon is experienced in all areas of accounting and income tax and provides clients assistance in the areas of business planning, financial planning, estate and trust matters, insurance consulting, tax planning and preparation, litigation support, financial statement preparation, and accounting-related issues.
Mr. Gordon has lectured on tax, investment and record keeping issues to the local offices of Penn Mutual Life Insurance, New York Life Insurance, Merrill Lynch, North Dade and South Broward Chapter of State Farm agents and local Kiwanis Club. Mr. Gordon has conducted public seminars in conjunction with Merrill Lynch and CPAlliance™.
Michael A. Naparstek, CPA., a graduate of Dominican College in New York with over 30 years of public accounting experience, has been a member of the firm since 1981. Mr. Naparstek is a Certified Public Accountant licensed by the State of Florida. A proud member of the AICPA and FICPA, and holds a NASD Series 65 securities license. Mr. Naparstek is experienced in all areas of accounting and income tax.
